In the last few months, various kinds of opinions and comments about how it is developing or should do so have been increasingly appearing on the Platform. The platform really changes as an egregor, development occurs and along with it some systems appear within it. One of such systems is the Watch, whose task is to organize interaction between the school and those who are interested in it.
The creation of the Watch at the beginning had two main goals: the first was to organize comments in the group, help people who ask questions, communicate with those who are interested in communication and learning; and the second is training the Platform participants in the skills of combat magic (working with situations and society). These goals are intertwined: students who gradually delve into the way of life and thinking of magicians begin to perform some functions useful for the egregor. Moreover, these functions are performed not so much from the position of an ordinary person, but from the position of a person who can, to some extent, influence the surrounding reality with his consciousness, that is, from the position of a magician.
This is a very important stage associated with learning. After the student becomes familiar with the theory, he needs to begin to gain experience, which is based on the emerging model. In order to gain this experience, you need to look for some kind of “clearing” in which you can work. Most often, the search ends quickly on the nearest situations, organisms and objects: a person goes to work for several years in a row, then he begins to master the work with his consciousness and he has the opportunity to solve problems differently than before. If before this he could only work through the body (say something to someone, bring something), now he receives a theoretical basis and tools for working with consciousness without the participation of the physical body. For example, he, as an accountant, sees that his company’s income has decreased, then he decides not just to advertise in some new online services, but to see what the structure of his company is, why it does not include as much money as it did before, or to see who is most profitable to sign a contract with next month. This is done not with the help of complex logical calculations or analysis of the situation, but based on those tools that a person has an idea about during training - with the help of extrasensory perception, etc.
At some point, after many trials, errors and successful attempts, a person may say: “yes, I can work with business” or “yes, I can improve people’s health” in this way. At the same time, an equally important aspect is the relevance of the problems posed. If a person is interested in the company working, generating income, developing the technologies it produces, then he will try to do something for this. And vice versa: people very rarely work with what does not concern them and is irrelevant for them. How long has it been since you checked the weather in Asunción? How long have you been looking for the nearest pizzeria in Cape Town? Probably a very long time ago, if ever they did this. If you ask similar questions about your hometown where you live, the answer will most likely be between “today” and “a week ago.” This is due to the area of responsibility: you cannot influence the level of humidity in one of the capitals of South America or the price of pizza in South Africa, but you can take an umbrella with you when going out, or take cash with you, knowing that the neighboring pizzeria does not accept payment by credit card.
A similar situation has developed in the Watch. Each participant was, to one degree or another, connected with the space of the school and the Platform: someone had been a preceptor for more than a year, someone was actively working with the main course as a senior student, someone often attended specialties and worked in groups with school students. For everyone, the space that had to be occupied in one way or another was, at a minimum, not alien, and, at a maximum, critical for development. From this we can derive a rather important idea: we are at home. Here we study, work, help each other, and conduct our own business. In fact, the whole school is a community of people, among whom everyone knows each other and, to some extent, feels each other. This is such a small model of a large society of magicians, where many are still learning important skills for further, more complex and demanding work.
From the very beginning, preparatory work was carried out: we tried to work with different spells, including protective ones, and monitored the results. We worked in groups and pairs, changing their configurations. Those. we learned to create situations (in different ways) and eliminate them (in no less different ways). Being on our territory, we were faced with the fact that someone was constantly coming to us, and with different messages. There were a lot of just opinions of people who had nothing to do with tradition: someone argued that magic does not exist, someone talked about other systems, someone simply told how to live well. Making a digression from the narrative line, I will say that none of these people were subjected to any magical influence from the Watch, except for magical blocking or magical deletion of a comment in especially rare cases.
There were also many questions regarding what the school actually does. With the advent of the Watch, people began to receive answers to such questions faster and more often, and directly from the people who make up this school at different levels. There were also people who came to wish all sorts of dirty tricks, warned of dire consequences and made threats. These consequences, of course, affected the activities of all magicians without exception.
Since the people who read the comments and respond on behalf of the school and the Watch are in one way or another attuned to the Platform, for them each interaction was quite tangible. Imagine that you are walking down the street and a masked man runs out to meet you, shouting your name, after which he adds some kind of insult. Probably the best strategy would be to calmly bypass the person and go about your business. The problem begins when there are a lot of such people and they do not meet you on the street, but run into your house. At the same time, you may have guests at your home who have come to drink tea with you or arrange an important meeting. Unexpected intruders, hurling insults and cups, can become an annoying obstacle to a previously good and pleasant evening, not only for the owner of the house, but also for the invited guests.
Such violators were punished and expelled from home. They were punished equivalent to the harm caused. Thus, after some time, suddenly in the comments there was less swearing, direct insults, threats of imminent punishment, and the number of constructive questions, alternative opinions and simply pleasant people increased. While the Watch members gained experience of tough interaction in the aspect of combat magic.
In general, interaction as such occurred and occurs not so much with any specific individuals, but with different egregors. It’s quite difficult to feel this at first, but at some point, re-reading one of the comments again, the thought “some kind of familiar feeling” appears. And here began the process of searching for someone else who had a similar feeling. It often turned out that these people were somehow connected with each other, were interested in the same content, or were associated with some literary or religious author. Over time, a feeling appeared that behind the personality there was something greater than it. And this can be described as two large flying meteorites that fly not a short distance from each other in space. They do not catch each other, but their fragments touch each other. Trees grow in a forest in a similar way: there is often a distance of several tens of meters between them, but in an adjacent clearing, young shoots from the seeds of each of them enter into serious competition.
Over time, the activities of the Watch have ceased to be limited to the study of comments under posts. Many people saw that there is a group of people who go about their business quite successfully; perhaps they can be asked for help. Moreover, these people were completely different: from school students to group readers. Everyone who asked for help was provided with it, and constant contact was maintained with people in order to support and check the results of the work. Until this moment, many members of the Watch simply did not have the opportunity to help people who really needed it, because there were no such people around. Now, I am sure that everyone who participated in the joint work can say “yes, I worked with this, I know how it’s done, I can help here” or confidently declare that “I haven’t worked with this, I’m afraid I can’t help.” Moreover, over time, the first situations become noticeably more numerous than the second.
A little about personal experience: before working in the Watch, combat magic was a very distant activity for me. Working with situations seemed less effective to me than creating artifacts or changing space/person parameters. Why create some situations if you can simply change the space in which they occur and the people? Besides, it's more interesting. However, in retrospect I can say that it was precisely because of the lack of practical experience that I thought this way and not otherwise. Combat magic is more multifaceted than I could have imagined. Thanks to this, I now have many, without exaggeration, exciting opportunities for developing my own magical and personal potential. Many situations have become more accessible and “more tangible” compared to others. Since before (and during) my studies in magic I had the opportunity to study a lot about how society generally works, how various processes took place and are taking place in it, I had a general view of what and how can be done, considered, corrected. Having gained practical experience of magical work, I can confidently say that this is no less than the transition from analog photography to image generation.
Other members of the Watch came to it for different reasons: some were interested in working more with defensive spells, others wanted to gain experience in working with situations and impact spells. For many, this was the first time they encountered real interactions in the aspect of combat magic. One of the main skills, it seems to me, that should be mastered is coordinated work in a group. This is critically important in any magical work, given that over time the complexity of the tasks increases, as does the personal power of the magician.
Briefly: you have nothing to fear if you follow the rules of polite communication and respect other people; The Watch is developing and continues to work in its area of responsibility; The platform is growing, and its capabilities are growing along with it.
